And the winner is...

Thu Aug 3, 2006, 12:07 PM
had won the avi contest for this round. Next avi contest will last till the end of this year and probably be run 2 times a year from here on out.

Next order of business:

We need more works, again I'm grateful for all those who have the patience to actually get things done here, and I've been on a small hiatus trying to get things in my personal life organized, but not letting the world know anything past. So let's get out there and get some works of literature out there!

Last Day...

Sat Jul 22, 2006, 8:54 AM
It's the last day for avitar entries. So far we only have one. So come on guys let's see a few more. If anyone needs a week more to finish up anything they are currently working on please send a note to either this name or my account, ~TomRocket.

As for other business, guys, we need more works and comments going around. I know I've been on a little break here for a bit, trying to refind my inspiration for my own works, and I apologize for that. Just not in my greatest writing era. So please, guys, let's band together and get this place booming! Thank you all for your help and inspirations.

Alright...

Sun Jul 2, 2006, 10:13 AM
Alright guys, we need more works of whatever you have. I'm still trying my best personally to read everything you submit, but I'll admit I"m not the best reader. So give me time I do promise everything that is submitted here will be read by me and commented on. Though we still have the matter of needing more people and growing, and getting some more works submitted. Yeah, and don't be afraid if you have any ideas to help the club either. I really appreciate them and take them all into serious consideration. So all I ask is that we try to keep everything going at the moment.

Also, we still have the Avi contest going till the 22nd of July. I really do look forward to what people submit and yes there will be a voting to be done by everyone in the club. Tie breakers will go to the mods though >< Sorry to say guys, but let's pray that doesn't happen. Alright. Keep the yoige alive all!

An Avi Contest

Sun Jun 25, 2006, 8:48 AM
Alright guys, considering I added it on to the other journal I wasn't sure how many people actually read it, and considering that it's something I think would be better said in the state of mind I am in now as well as something that I personally think would be a great thing to start off for our club, though I know not all of us, actually probably most of us, aren't the greatest artists.

Trust me, I understand this, but wouldn't it be fun to at least try to create an avitar? Something that is about 50 X 50 pixels, doesn't have to be elaborate, but, if at all possible, it would be great if you could include Crit-lit somewhere in it, but not a mandatory requirement what-so-ever.

I was thinking about running this contest till July 22nd pending how many entrys we get. Of course any avi that is created, will be voted upon by the whole club, not just our incompetent founder, or the mods alone. Alright guys, have fun, and enjoy everything we have.

I was thinking about removing the mandatory comment to post a work here, but I would like to get input from everyone, so please, let me know what you guys think of it. Send a note to ~TomRocket (or to ~Crit-Lit of course), or leave a comment. Either is fine.

Thank you for your time and patience,

~TomRocket

Alright guys, I think :deveyepril: had a great idea. We need an avitar, and considering that I really don't have a good idea for one, and that it would be a great event to get all our members together for something, how about you guys try to make an avi? Come on, it'll be loads of fun! As for a due date, how about a month from now so on July 22.
